This Privacy Policy explains how Slingshotz Pte Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"), which owns and operates Slingshot Singapore and the GX-5 Extreme Swing at Clarke Quay, collects, uses, discloses and looks after your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").

It applies to personal data we hold or control, including personal data held by organisations we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data on our behalf. It covers our website (slingshot.sg), our venue, and any other way you deal with us, such as by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media.

Personal data we collect

"Personal data" means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data together with other information we have or are likely to have access to.

Depending on how you deal with us, the personal data we collect may include:

• your name and contact details, such as your email address and phone number;
• the details you give us when you send an enquiry, such as your message, the type of event you are planning, your preferred date, the number of guests and your budget;
• information about your booking, such as the ride, date and time;
• information about your health or physical condition where it is relevant to ride safety, for example when you confirm that you meet our rider requirements;
• photographs and video of you taken during your ride or at our venue, and images captured by our venue's security cameras (CCTV);
• your feedback, survey responses, and entries into competitions or promotions; and
• information about how you use our website, such as the pages you visit, the links you click, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and how you arrived at our website (see "Cookies and website analytics" below).

How we collect personal data

We generally collect personal data only when you give it to us voluntarily, either directly or through someone you have authorised to give it to us, after you have been told the purposes for which it is collected and have consented. We also collect personal data without consent where the PDPA or other laws permit or require us to.

We collect personal data when you:

• fill in the contact or event enquiry forms on our website;
• email, call or WhatsApp us, or message us on our social media pages;
• book a ride, whether at our venue or through our ticketing partner;
• visit our venue or take one of our rides; and
• take part in our events, promotions, competitions or surveys.

We will ask for your consent before collecting any additional personal data, or before using your personal data for a purpose we have not told you about, unless the law permits or requires us to do so without consent.

How we use personal data

We may collect and use your personal data to:

• respond to your enquiries, requests, feedback and complaints;
• plan and deliver the rides, events and services you ask for, including private and corporate events;
• manage your booking and your relationship with us;
• keep riders, guests and staff safe, including checking that riders meet our rider requirements;
• maintain the security of our venue;
• offer you photographs and videos of your ride;
• understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it, and measure how well our advertising works;
• send you news and offers, but only where you have agreed to receive them;
• comply with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, and assist government and law enforcement agencies where required; and
• carry out any other purpose you were told about when you gave us your personal data, and other purposes reasonably related to the above.

These purposes may continue to apply for a reasonable period after your relationship with us ends, for example so that we can deal with a later query or enforce our rights.

Bookings made through Fever

Tickets bought online are sold through our ticketing partner, Fever. When you book through Fever, your booking and payment details are collected by Fever and handled under Fever's privacy notice. We do not receive or store your card details. Fever shares booking details with us so that we can honour your booking at the venue.

Photographs and video

During your ride we may take photographs and video of you. Their main purpose is to give you a memento of your experience that you can choose to buy. We may also use these images, together with other photographs and video taken at our venue and at our events, on our website, on our social media and in our promotional and advertising materials.

If you would prefer not to appear in our promotional materials, please tell our crew on the day or email us at [email protected] and we will not use images of you for that purpose.

Our venue has security cameras. We use this footage to keep the venue safe and secure, and we may provide it to law enforcement or government agencies where required.

Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and PostHog, to understand how visitors use the site. This helps us see which pages are useful, find problems and improve the site. These tools may record how you move through our pages, such as the pages you view, the links and buttons you click and the time you spend on each page, and may include recordings of your session. Anything you type into our forms is masked from these recordings. We may also use cookies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, for example on Google.

This information is collected by our analytics and advertising providers on our behalf and is used in aggregate to improve our website. You can learn more in Google's privacy policy and PostHog's privacy policy.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you do, some parts of the website may not work as intended.

When we disclose personal data

We do not sell your personal data.

We may disclose your personal data:

• where this is needed to provide the rides, events and services you have asked for;
• to service providers and organisations we have engaged to carry out the purposes above, such as our ticketing partner, website hosting, email, analytics and marketing providers, and photo and video processing providers;
• to our professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and insurers; and
• to government, regulatory and law enforcement agencies where the law requires or permits it.

Where third parties process personal data on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to ensure that they protect it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and the PDPA.

Withdrawing your consent

Your consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal data remains valid until you withdraw it in writing. You can withdraw your consent for any or all of the purposes above by emailing our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].

We will generally process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it. Depending on what you ask, we may not be able to continue providing some services to you, and if so we will let you know before we complete your request. Withdrawing consent does not affect our right to collect, use and disclose personal data where the law permits us to do so without consent.

If you no longer wish to receive news and offers from us, you can also use the unsubscribe option included in each message.

Access to and correction of personal data

You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you and for information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year, or ask us to correct or update your personal data. Please send your request to our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].

We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and if so we will tell you the fee before we process your request. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If we cannot respond within thirty (30) days of receiving your request, we will tell you in writing within that time when we expect to be able to respond. If we are unable to give you access to your personal data or make a correction you have asked for, we will generally tell you why, except where the PDPA does not require us to.

Accuracy of personal data

We generally rely on the personal data you give us. To help us keep your personal data current, complete and accurate, please let us know at [email protected] if any of it changes.

Protection of personal data

We take reasonable administrative, physical and technical measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal and similar risks. We share personal data within our organisation, and with our authorised service providers, only on a need-to-know basis.

Please be aware that no method of sending data over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure. While we cannot guarantee security, we work to protect your personal data and review our security measures regularly.

Retention of personal data

We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as required or permitted by law. We will stop keeping your personal data, or remove the means by which it can be associated with you, once keeping it no longer serves that purpose and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

Transfers of personal data outside Singapore

Some of our service providers, such as our website hosting, analytics and email providers, store or process data outside Singapore, including in the United States. Where your personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure that it continues to receive a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
